New Posthumous Shel Silverstein Collection To Be Published [News]

HarperCollins is publishing a posthumous collection of Silverstein's work called Every Thing On It.

It will have over 130 never-before-seen poems selected from his archives by his family.

I'm excited!  You guys?

I'm excited, too! I still remember some of a SS poem we were "forced" to memorize in 4th grade: "I cannot go to school today/Said Little Peggy Ann McKay/I have the measles and the mumps/A gash, a rash, and purple bumps..."

Oh my Gosh, so excited! Thanks for sharing this, I had no idea! I'm thinking of getting the line from Invitation "flax-golden tales to spin" as a literary tattoo. Love his poems, can't wait to read the new book!
