Borders Closing 200 Stores

So, it seems that as part of their Bankruptcy negotiations, Borders is closing some 200 stores in the US. Are you losing your Borders?  And do you care?

I'm losing one of mine, but it's not the one I frequent most often.  Am I bummed?  Well, yeah, a bookstore is closing.  Am I surprised?  Well, nope.  Especially because of their super-poor selection of YA books at the one that's closing.

How 'bout you?  Is yours on the list?

Wow, I haven't checked if mine is closed. I rarely go to it, usually I go to Barnes.

The crappy one close to me isn't closing, but the one in the next county over is, and that is the best one in the state:(

Aw darn the one with the bookstore hottie is closing down. I guess no more eye candy for me.

Mine is staying open, which makes me very happy! I buy a lot of books used, but if I buy new, I go there.

Awww, Alexa, that almost breaks my heart! Eye candy in bookstores is just too much fun!

I Heart Monster- (I wont say your real name on here) I know it was one of the only reasons I would drive all the way over there, well plus sometimes borders has good coupons. I wonder if they are going to have going out of business sales. lol

Woah what's this about Borders closing? I live in Australia so I don't "Think" my Borders is going to e affected but they did change it from a two story store to a one story store....

Nope...ours is staying open oddly enough. Who'd have thought? Glad though, even if it's not one I frequent...it's a bookstore and any day one is closing is a sad one indeed.

I'm not sure about mine. I hardly go to it - I much prefer Barnes & Nobles. The atmosphere is so much nicer and I think their book selection is much better!
