New Short Stories On An Old Audio Medium [You're The Expert] [News]

I feel like I'm always going, "Man! Why can't I buy that?!?  Why didn't someone in America think that up?"  I know, my friends, I know.  With so many books so close to me, I shouldn't complain about what I get and what I don't get in America.  But this, THIS, is super fly.  Ready?  Short Stories on vinyl!

Yeah, you heard me right.  Vinyl!  Underwood is now publishing(?) short stories on 33s.  But it's £23 for us here in the States to get a single story.  That's $33.08 by today's exchange and a little steep for a 20 minute recorded story... I think.  I still haven't ruled it out as a Christmas gift for someone I know, because the novelty factor definitely adds to how much I'm willing to pay, but I'm still on the fence.  Underwood Stories are the ones publishing these, and they currently have two options on their site.

But you tell us.  Would you pay £23 for a short story on vinyl?  How much is that in your local currency?

What goes around comes around. Vinyl is so old it's almost new.

I don't know the value of 23 pounds (don't even have the symbol) in American currency, but I love the idea.
