Google Before You Tweet [You're The Expert]

google before you tweet
When I saw this floating around on the internets, I knew I needed to share it. I also knew that I have been guilty of tweeting before googling... and that doing so just gets hairy. Especially with our 140 character limit. So, what do you guys think about this little mantra? Any experiences you want to share?

For some reason this reminds me of a sign that says something like: Teens, get out on your own and make yourself rich while you still know everything. I'm told the saying is old as dirt but the first time I saw it was hanging in a wild west town called Virginia City, NV.

I have totally googled before I Tweeted before. Sometimes I want to say something really snarky about a blog comment or a book review pitch but then wonder if they are following me or not. So I'm often Googling somebody before I tweet.

That is an awesome poster. I try not to do it, but occasionally it happens.

The worst is when you ask a question on a message board that's been answered 100 times on the same board.

Nice & satisfying is when someone says "search and you'll find it!" when you did already search, and there's nothing there. Then they usually answer your question. :D

I wish I knew someone who could embroider because I'd definitely want this made for a few people I know.
