Juries Ain't For Wusses [Audiobook Inspection]

The Juror
Title: The Juror
Size: 3 CDs (Hachette Audio CDs)
Length: 2 hours, 59 minutes
Author: George Dawes Green
Narrator: Lolita Davidovich, Jon Heard

Plot Sketch: Annie Laird is an artist. She gets called in for jury duty. She gets selected for the jury. It's a mob trial. She gets approached by the mob and told that she has to control the outcome of the trial in the jury room.

Plot Verdict: I Heart It! I really did enjoy this audiobook. As soon as one CD was over, I hurried to put the next one in. I think that since it was the abridged version, the condensed content piqued my interest and held my attention. It was plausible and interesting and I liked it a lot.

Narration Verdict: I Heart It. I liked the feel that the two voices gave to this one. I liked that they were believable for the characters they portrayed in the story. I thought that they both did a great job and would definitely listen if I saw an audiobook narrated by either of them in the future.

Haha, I have jury duty next week, but I'm betting this book is a lot more interesting than the real thing will be ;)
