To Write Love On Her Arms Day 2009

Miss Ella Press invited me to this event on Facebook, and I thought it would be great to share it all with you today. Go ahead, get your markers out and write some words of love and encouragement on your arms to help those who are depressed see that our world is full of love and encouragement, not hate and loathing as so many major media outlets would have us believe.

Interested? Read more from the event's profile:

To Write Love on Her Arms is a non-profit movement dedicated to presenting hope and finding help for people struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury and suicide. TWLOHA exists to encourage, inform, inspire and also to invest directly into treatment and recovery.

To Write Love On Her Arms Day is a day where anyone can write the words love on their arms, to support those who are fighting against depression and those who are trying to stop cutting.

Now its quite simple to help out, as twloha is a non profit organization, so the simple words of "LOVE" on your arms, can already benefit and raise awareness, as your friends will ask why do you have love written on your arms, and you would tell them its twloha day, and how writing love on your arms is actually helping a cause.
I'm going to write on my arms today (in washable marker) and I hope you will too. Spread the love my friends, spread the love. It won't cost you anything, so why not join in this global support day? Go get your pen or marker. Do it now.

Check out this video made by xcrashgirlx from To Write Love On Her Arms Day 2008... it's inspiring and shows a great example. Thanks for making it, xcrashgirlx.

I am thankful for Superstition Ranch Market. They have the cheapest produce I've seen, even cheaper than Mexico and that's saying a lot. I frequent you, Ranch Market, because I heart you, and your 4 cantaloupe for a dollar, and three cartons of strawberries for a dollar, and four heads of lettuce for a dollar. You make me smile. Except when you run out of strawberries and I have to pay full price.
