Book Inspection: Prada & Prejudice by Mandy Hubbard

Plot Sketch: Callie Montgomery is on the social "D List" at her high school. Her best friend moved away leaving her to be the only one on that list. She thinks she'll get a great escape by going on a summer school trip to London, but is mistaken. Not only do the "A Listers" all go as well, she's plagued with all kinds of klutz in front of them. That all changes when she purchases a pair of red Prada pumps and trips, hitting her head, and waking up in 1815. There, she poses as a long lost friend from America and displays some rockin' girl power moves that shock her hosts.

Verdict: I Heart It!! So so so so fun! It's a really great, really quick read for lovers of historical fiction and chicklit. I'm raving about this one to you. I really loved it. Mandy Hubbard has a fluid, conversational style that will leave you amazed at how much you've already read. This is a page turner, but not so intense that you feel stressed. Buy this book!
