Shareworthy: Friday, May 15, 2009 [Volume 1, Edition 7]

Selections of super-cool stuff I find around the web and the blogosphere during the week. Brace yourself for this week's items deemed Shareworthy:
  • Readaholic tells us about a free eBook download by Jack Kilborn named Serial, and it looks like it's courtesy of the wonderful folks at Hachette.
  • I can't remember who was awesome enough to post about the free download for Deeds of Men, but for those of you who have read the series, this is a free novella that takes place between Midnight Never Come and In Ashes Lie by Marie Brennan. Scroll to the bottom to either download, or donate and download.
  • For those of you who blog, LifeHacker posted about the best five journaling tools.
  • And even though this isn't book related, I thought it was dope. (yeah, I just said dope. Wired's Musical Mystery Tour where you can find the messages embedded in your favorite album.
  • Wanna win an ARC of Eyes Like Stars? Participate in Lisa Mantchev's Cake Wrecking Contest for your chance. This is a super-fun contest and I'm planning on wrecking my own cake this weekend. The deadline for entry is Monday, so get your wreckage on... (my book inspection of ELS)
  • Twenty Boy Summer by Sarah Ockler is released early! I had planned to do an Ambitious Edition post about it, but I didn't get the chance. Look for it in stores now! My copy is on its way, so you'll get an inspection as soon as I get it read. But in the mean time, check out Sarah's contest, Put Twenty Boy Summer On The Map! where you can win a cool TBS beach prize pack!
Now, in case you missed something at IHM this week:
  • I'm taking a poll to see which book I should take to the top of Yosemite Falls, North America's tallest waterfall, and it closes at 9:45 tonight. Please please please vote! And I'm sorry I've been spamming twitter with the link ;o)
  • Strange Angels was this week's Ambitious Edition, and I am super happy to report that my copy came in the mail already!
  • Book Inspections for Dead Is A State of Mind and Dead Is So Last Year both by Marlene Perez.
  • A contest for you to win my copies of all three of the books in Marlene's Dead Is... Series.
  • The contest to win my copy of Robin Palmer's Cindy Ella ends tonight at 11:59PM Arizona time!
  • Rachel Caine's Exile, Texas Chapter one was this week's Minimal Investment.
Now I have some other business to catch up on...
